Tavlo QR Ordering
How to Use Tavlo
UofU Dining locations use our Tavlo QR ordering system. Below is a step by step on how to use this system:
- QR Code Scan: To begin the ordering process, users scan a QR code provided at the dining locations on campus.
- Phone Number Entry: After scanning the QR code, users are prompted to enter their phone number. This phone number is then linked to their Tavlo account for future orders. It's important to note that the phone number is solely used for order notifications and account verification.
- Account Verification: The first time a user accesses Tavlo, they are required to verify their phone number. This is a one-time process to ensure the accuracy of account information.
- Item Selection and Customization: Users browse the menu and select the desired entrees or items. They can further customize their selections based on preferences, such as choosing toppings or indicating cooking preferences.
- Adding to Basket: After customizing their order, users add the items to their basket for checkout.
- Checkout and Payment: If the user is at a retail location, they proceed to checkout where they are prompted to select a method of payment. Options include debit/credit cards or payment through meal plans (transfer swipe, flex dollars, dining dollars).
- Order Completion Notification: Once the order is successfully placed, users receive a confirmation text message to their provided phone number. This notification serves as a reminder for users to pick up their order
The Tavlo ordering system streamlines the dining experience on campus by allowing users to conveniently place and customize their orders through a simple and efficient process.
